Narrative:
On nov/wed/98, the mapper for the radar stopped working at fargo's ATCT approach control. This is an outage that needs immediate attention, and get repaired right away. Today is nov/mon/98, the mapper is still OTS. The parts have not been delivered. Approach control is being worked combined in tower cabin attendant on a BRITE scope, with no backup system for the BRITE scope radar. It is projected to take until at least nov/wed/98, 1 full week, to get the problem fixed. Not ideal working conditions.
