Narrative:
After calling for a new takeoff performance sheet (reference to weight and balance) on taxi out, it was discovered that a packs off takeoff was called for. The packs were turned off just before brake release and my response on the mechanical checklist 'packs off,' may have been overlooked. Better verbal review would help. A poor night of sleep was a contributing factor to the problem.
