Narrative:

The captain and first officer received the taxi clearance as they understood it, of 'taxi down taxiway F to taxiway west, cross runway 10C, contact ramp control, air carrier X.' the captain and first officer read back the clearance as previously described. Proceeded down taxiway F past taxiway V toward taxiway west. At this time the controller said 'since you (air carrier X) have already passed taxiway V, continue to taxiway west and cross over there.' problem arose through miscom. Problem corrected easily as there was no other traffic on the taxiway or runway to be crossed at that time period.

Title: FLC OF A BEECH AIRLINER 1900 BE02 WERE ADVISED BY TWR GND CTLR THAT THEY HAD PASSED THE TXWY ON WHICH THEY WERE CLRED TO USE. HOWEVER, SINCE THERE WAS NO TFC CONFLICT, THE CTLR INSTRUCTED THEM TO GO THE NEXT TXWY OF WHICH THE FLC BELIEVED, AND READ BACK TO CTLR, THAT THEY WERE CLRED FOR ORIGINALLY.

Narrative: THE CAPT AND FO RECEIVED THE TAXI CLRNC AS THEY UNDERSTOOD IT, OF 'TAXI DOWN TXWY F TO TXWY W, CROSS RWY 10C, CONTACT RAMP CTL, ACR X.' THE CAPT AND FO READ BACK THE CLRNC AS PREVIOUSLY DESCRIBED. PROCEEDED DOWN TXWY F PAST TXWY V TOWARD TXWY W. AT THIS TIME THE CTLR SAID 'SINCE YOU (ACR X) HAVE ALREADY PASSED TXWY V, CONTINUE TO TXWY W AND CROSS OVER THERE.' PROB AROSE THROUGH MISCOM. PROB CORRECTED EASILY AS THERE WAS NO OTHER TFC ON THE TXWY OR RWY TO BE CROSSED AT THAT TIME PERIOD.
