Narrative:
I was making an approach on a field for landing. I thought power lines were on my side of the road. As I got closer, I see they were on the other side of the road. I clip the lines with the bottom of the basket. No damage or injury occurred. Power company and police came out. Power company said the lines were ok.

Title: PLT OF A HOT AIR BALLOON STRUCK PWR LINE WIRE DURING APCH FOR LNDG. THE LINES WERE CHKED FOR DAMAGE BY THE PWR COMPANY BUT NONE WERE FOUND, NEITHER WAS THE BALLOON DAMAGED.
Narrative: I WAS MAKING AN APCH ON A FIELD FOR LNDG. I THOUGHT PWR LINES WERE ON MY SIDE OF THE ROAD. AS I GOT CLOSER, I SEE THEY WERE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE ROAD. I CLIP THE LINES WITH THE BOTTOM OF THE BASKET. NO DAMAGE OR INJURY OCCURRED. PWR COMPANY AND POLICE CAME OUT. PWR COMPANY SAID THE LINES WERE OK.
