Narrative:
On arrival in anc from ord (flight xyz), we were advised that we had carried hazmat although no paperwork for hazmats was ever seen in the cockpit. During my walkaround and main deck walk-through, I noticed no hazmat stickers, and upon arriving in the cockpit before pushback in ord there were no hazmat documents. The first clue that we had that we might have hazmats on board was in anc when asked for the documents. Suggested solutions: issue hazmat documentation on every flight as part of the flight paperwork - - whether hazmat is present or not. At present there is no way to know whether hazmat is on board if the paperwork is not generated. A large 'none' written across the hazmat form on every flight not carrying hazmat would guarantee the pilots (and loaders) have addressed hazmat and not just forgotten it.

Title: A B747F WAS DISPATCHED WITH HAZMAT WITHOUT THE REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION.
Narrative: ON ARR IN ANC FROM ORD (FLT XYZ), WE WERE ADVISED THAT WE HAD CARRIED HAZMAT ALTHOUGH NO PAPERWORK FOR HAZMATS WAS EVER SEEN IN THE COCKPIT. SUGGESTED SOLUTIONS: ISSUE HAZMAT DOCUMENTATION ON EVERY FLT AS PART OF THE FLT PAPERWORK - - WHETHER HAZMAT IS PRESENT OR NOT. AT PRESENT THERE IS NO WAY TO KNOW WHETHER HAZMAT IS ON BOARD IF THE PAPERWORK IS NOT GENERATED. A LARGE 'NONE' WRITTEN ACROSS THE HAZMAT FORM ON EVERY FLT NOT CARRYING HAZMAT WOULD GUARANTEE THE PLTS (AND LOADERS) HAVE ADDRESSED HAZMAT AND NOT JUST FORGOTTEN IT.
