Narrative:
While reviewing logbook for aircraft xyz, noticed PIREP xy page abcyxy. The signoff to reinflate tire is contrary to general maintenance manual procedures. The PIREP states that the tire was a 150 psi. At 150 psi, the tire should have been removed and replaced. I made a write-up on today's paperwork to have the tire removed for safety purposes.

Title: AN MD SUPER 80 WAS DISPATCHED WITH A MAIN GEAR TIRE REINFLATED WHEN FOUND AT 150 PSI IN NON COMPLIANCE WITH THE MAINT MANUAL.
Narrative: WHILE REVIEWING LOGBOOK FOR ACFT XYZ, NOTICED PIREP XY PAGE ABCYXY. THE SIGNOFF TO REINFLATE TIRE IS CONTRARY TO GENERAL MAINT MANUAL PROCS. THE PIREP STATES THAT THE TIRE WAS A 150 PSI. AT 150 PSI, THE TIRE SHOULD HAVE BEEN REMOVED AND REPLACED. I MADE A WRITE-UP ON TODAY'S PAPERWORK TO HAVE THE TIRE REMOVED FOR SAFETY PURPOSES.
