Narrative:
Aircraft was slowing through approximately 30 mph on landing rollout when 2 deer moved quickly into path of aircraft resulting in killing one outright and injuring other which ran off. No time allowable to maneuver to miss them or effectively stop aircraft. Damage to aircraft appears to be limited to muffler/exhaust stack and lower cowling plus foot step on left strut was broken loose. Fields on both sides of runway were grown over with 2-4 ft brush which hid deer from view. This needs to be mowed down and has been discussed with FBO. Incident was reported immediately to local law enforcement and FAA via call to leesburg FSS.
