Narrative:
I installed fan blades in #2 engine aircraft xyz. I believe I installed blades and all other components correctly. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the reporter stated the aircraft was a B737-300 and the fan blades were installed on #2 engine per the maintenance manual procedures. The reporter said a foreman advised the reporter that another station found 1 blade installed improperly during a routine blade lubrication. The reporter said the foreman showed the reporter a picture of the part alleged to have been installed improperly. The reporter stated the reporter did not recognize the part or component or its nomenclature.

Title: A B737-300 WAS DISPATCHED WITH A #2 ENG FAN BLADE INSTALLED IMPROPERLY. FOUND ON A ROUTINE CHK AT A DOWNLINE STATION.
Narrative: I INSTALLED FAN BLADES IN #2 ENG ACFT XYZ. I BELIEVE I INSTALLED BLADES AND ALL OTHER COMPONENTS CORRECTLY. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: THE RPTR STATED THE ACFT WAS A B737-300 AND THE FAN BLADES WERE INSTALLED ON #2 ENG PER THE MAINT MANUAL PROCS. THE RPTR SAID A FOREMAN ADVISED THE RPTR THAT ANOTHER STATION FOUND 1 BLADE INSTALLED IMPROPERLY DURING A ROUTINE BLADE LUBRICATION. THE RPTR SAID THE FOREMAN SHOWED THE RPTR A PICTURE OF THE PART ALLEGED TO HAVE BEEN INSTALLED IMPROPERLY. THE RPTR STATED THE RPTR DID NOT RECOGNIZE THE PART OR COMPONENT OR ITS NOMENCLATURE.
