Narrative:

Wrong taxiway. After pushback iad gate ab, we were told taxi via taxiway D. Captain misidented taxiway and turned to move over to the adjacent taxiway, which was taxiway C. There was a commuter aircraft approaching from the west on taxiway C which was forced to stop and give way. Captain saw approaching aircraft and queried ramp tower after which the mistake was corrected.

Narrative: WRONG TXWY. AFTER PUSHBACK IAD GATE AB, WE WERE TOLD TAXI VIA TXWY D. CAPT MISIDENTED TXWY AND TURNED TO MOVE OVER TO THE ADJACENT TXWY, WHICH WAS TXWY C.
