Narrative:
We were cleared for the visual approach to runway 35L at den. Tower then cleared us to land on runway 35L at approximately 1200 ft AGL. We were following a B737 that had landed and rolled out to the far end of runway 35L. The captain and I had a difficult time determining if the aircraft had cleared the runway, but we believed it did. I asked tower to verify our landing clearance, but they never responded to us. From our view it appeared the preceding B737 had cleared runway 35L. Upon our touchdown, we noticed the logo lights on the tail of the preceding aircraft. We realized that the aircraft was on the runway when we touched down. Factors: could not determine if the aircraft was on the runway because of the runway lights. In addition, the aircraft was at the far end of a 12000 ft runway. Frequency congestion -- tower never responded to our call to verify the landing clearance and did not tell us to go around.

Title: FLC LANDED AT DEN PRIOR TO PREVIOUS ACFT COMPLETELY EXITING THE RWY.
Narrative: WE WERE CLRED FOR THE VISUAL APCH TO RWY 35L AT DEN. TWR THEN CLRED US TO LAND ON RWY 35L AT APPROX 1200 FT AGL. I ASKED TWR TO VERIFY OUR LNDG CLRNC, BUT THEY NEVER RESPONDED TO US. FROM OUR VIEW IT APPEARED THE PRECEDING B737 HAD CLRED RWY 35L.
