Narrative:
After a normal powerback and taxi from the gate I elected to shut down the right engine due to departure traffic. When near the end of the runway we restarted the right engine. Fuel flow was excessive approximately 1200 pph and egt was rapidly increasing. We terminated the start and allowed the engine to cool down. We attempted another start with the same results. Returned to the gate for maintenance.
