Narrative:
Captain's stick shaker activated at flap retraction. Contacted maintenance control and pulled stall management computer #1 circuit breaker. Stick shaker ceased. Agreement among captain, maintenance, and dispatch to continue flight to destination, tpa. I had personally conducted the preflight inspection of the aircraft prior to this departure. Angle of attack vanes were intact at that time. Postflt inspection revealed damage to left side angle of attack vane. Probable cause was contact with jetway during jetway withdrawal.
