Narrative:
After receiving a WX briefing, I performed a preflight on a C185 aircraft located at FBO, chandler, az. I then listened to AWOS at chandler airport. I started the engine and contacted the tower. The tower asked my direction of flight and if I had AWOS. I confirmed I had AWOS, that my flight was VFR, and I wanted to intercept V190 and go direct to albuquerque, NM. I was told to contact ground when ready to taxi. I was given taxi instructions from ground control to taxi to runway 22R, and told to contact the tower when ready to depart. I switched to the tower frequency and told them I was ready for takeoff. The tower cleared me for takeoff, said a right turnout was approved, and to turn north 360 degrees. I was not given an altitude or speed restr. I set up the aircraft for an en route climb to intersect V190. Very shortly after departure, I was concerned that the tower had not authority/authorized me to switch (contact) phx approach, so I called the tower and asked if they were going to hand me off to phx. They said 'no,' however, they gave me a frequency for phx. I reported in to phx approach, was given a squawk code, and told to turn to a heading of 040 degrees. I immediately executed a right turn to 040 degrees. During my turn, approach asked my altitude. I told them, and was told to maintain 5500 ft. Shortly thereafter, approach said they had a telephone number for me, and wanted to know when I was ready to copy. I contacted approach and told them I was ready to copy. They advised me that I had entered class B airspace without approval, and to call when I arrived in albuquerque. I did call the number when I arrived in albuquerque, and it was the phx approach control. I spoke with a lady and she asked for my pilot certificate number, name, address, and phone number. I gave her the information and terminated the call. I was vectored into the phx class B airspace by the chandler tower. I think this situation could have been avoided if the tower had not given me a right turnout, vectors to the north, and/or had authority/authorized me to switch to (contact) phx approach sooner.

Title: PLT OF A C185 DEPARTED CHD ARPT AND EXPECTED VECTORS TO REMAIN CLR OF CLASS B AIRSPACE. HE WAS ON A VFR FLT PLAN SO NO ADVICE WAS ISSUED AND RPTR ENTERED CLASS B PRIOR TO CONTACTING TRACON.
Narrative: AFTER RECEIVING A WX BRIEFING, I PERFORMED A PREFLT ON A C185 ACFT LOCATED AT FBO, CHANDLER, AZ. I THEN LISTENED TO AWOS AT CHANDLER ARPT. I STARTED THE ENG AND CONTACTED THE TWR. THE TWR ASKED MY DIRECTION OF FLT AND IF I HAD AWOS. I CONFIRMED I HAD AWOS, THAT MY FLT WAS VFR, AND I WANTED TO INTERCEPT V190 AND GO DIRECT TO ALBUQUERQUE, NM. I WAS TOLD TO CONTACT GND WHEN READY TO TAXI. I WAS GIVEN TAXI INSTRUCTIONS FROM GND CTL TO TAXI TO RWY 22R, AND TOLD TO CONTACT THE TWR WHEN READY TO DEPART. I SWITCHED TO THE TWR FREQ AND TOLD THEM I WAS READY FOR TKOF. THE TWR CLRED ME FOR TKOF, SAID A R TURNOUT WAS APPROVED, AND TO TURN N 360 DEGS. I WAS NOT GIVEN AN ALT OR SPD RESTR. I SET UP THE ACFT FOR AN ENRTE CLB TO INTERSECT V190. VERY SHORTLY AFTER DEP, I WAS CONCERNED THAT THE TWR HAD NOT AUTH ME TO SWITCH (CONTACT) PHX APCH, SO I CALLED THE TWR AND ASKED IF THEY WERE GOING TO HAND ME OFF TO PHX. THEY SAID 'NO,' HOWEVER, THEY GAVE ME A FREQ FOR PHX. I RPTED IN TO PHX APCH, WAS GIVEN A SQUAWK CODE, AND TOLD TO TURN TO A HDG OF 040 DEGS. I IMMEDIATELY EXECUTED A R TURN TO 040 DEGS. DURING MY TURN, APCH ASKED MY ALT. I TOLD THEM, AND WAS TOLD TO MAINTAIN 5500 FT. SHORTLY THEREAFTER, APCH SAID THEY HAD A TELEPHONE NUMBER FOR ME, AND WANTED TO KNOW WHEN I WAS READY TO COPY. I CONTACTED APCH AND TOLD THEM I WAS READY TO COPY. THEY ADVISED ME THAT I HAD ENTERED CLASS B AIRSPACE WITHOUT APPROVAL, AND TO CALL WHEN I ARRIVED IN ALBUQUERQUE. I DID CALL THE NUMBER WHEN I ARRIVED IN ALBUQUERQUE, AND IT WAS THE PHX APCH CTL. I SPOKE WITH A LADY AND SHE ASKED FOR MY PLT CERTIFICATE NUMBER, NAME, ADDRESS, AND PHONE NUMBER. I GAVE HER THE INFO AND TERMINATED THE CALL. I WAS VECTORED INTO THE PHX CLASS B AIRSPACE BY THE CHANDLER TWR. I THINK THIS SIT COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED IF THE TWR HAD NOT GIVEN ME A R TURNOUT, VECTORS TO THE N, AND/OR HAD AUTH ME TO SWITCH TO (CONTACT) PHX APCH SOONER.
