Narrative:

On dec/wed/98, I was the first officer aboard air carrier abcd operating mke-pdx. The WX deteriorated throughout the am at pdx to CAT ii minimums. Per company procedures the captain briefed CAT ii procedures from the appropriate ILS chart (runway 10R), he also included the low visibility taxi chart commercial 10-9C. The approach to runway 10R was made with touchdown zone RVR 2000 ft, mid approximately 1200 ft and rollout 1000 ft. Touchdown was uneventful as well as rollout, we came to taxi speed just short of taxiway F. Wanting to exit as quickly as possible the captain turned right onto taxiway F. As we were doing this the tower advised taxi on down the runway to taxiway C6. We were already on taxiway F and obviously the tower did not see us. We advised we were on taxiway F, tower quickly said 'taxiway F is not stressed contact ground 121.9,' which we did, they advised to taxi to our ramp. As far as I know no damage was done to taxiway or aircraft. Factors: airport diagram commercial 10-9 has note that taxiway F is not stressed for aircraft over 65000 pounds, low visibility chart does not have note for taxiway F. We actually shoot very few CAT ii, low visibility approachs a yr, definitely not enough to stay current on low visibility procedures. This was my first actual CAT ii approach as an first officer. Tower should advise where they recommend a taxi turn-off, ie, left or right.

WE ADVISED WE WERE ON TXWY F, TWR QUICKLY SAID 'TXWY F IS NOT STRESSED CONTACT GND 121.9,' WHICH WE DID, THEY ADVISED TO TAXI TO OUR RAMP. AS FAR AS I KNOW NO DAMAGE WAS DONE TO TXWY OR ACFT. WE ACTUALLY SHOOT VERY FEW CAT II, LOW VISIBILITY APCHS A YR, DEFINITELY NOT ENOUGH TO STAY CURRENT ON LOW VISIBILITY PROCS. THIS WAS MY FIRST ACTUAL CAT II APCH AS AN FO. TWR SHOULD ADVISE WHERE THEY RECOMMEND A TAXI TURN-OFF, IE, L OR R.
