Narrative:

Immediately after takeoff there was a strong smell of something burning. I thought at first it was old food on a burner type of smell. I got out of my jump seat, checked the ovens and coffee pots, everything was off. I checked vents to see if there was smoke but there was nothing. I walked into the first class cabin to see if there was smoke and passenger said they smelled something burning. I went back to the galley and opened the cockpit door and made my report. Then I began to see a light haze forming between the jump seat area and the door. I called the cockpit again and they were becoming aware of smoke or haze in the same area. The first officer called me and said we'd be on the ground in 12 mins, and we were. After we were on the ground the haze dissipated. However, the little bit of haze or smoke we experienced was very acrid and burned my nose and throat.
