Narrative:
Mid flight, I was walking from first class to coach galley. Just after I passed the mid lavatory, I smelled marijuana smoke. I turned and walked back up to the mid lavatory and passed the passenger that had just come out of that lavatory. He also smelled of marijuana. I checked the lavatory and the trash compartment and found nothing unusual, but I could still smell it. I then went to the passenger and kneeled down to talk discreetly to him. I said, 'consider this a warning, if you 'light up' again, we will land this plane and have you taken off.' he looked up at me and said, 'yeah, oh, ok' or words to that effect. I notified the other flight attendants and asked them to keep an eye on him and I notified the captain. There were witnesses on board who smelled the smoke as he came out of the lavatory. Upon landing in ewr, he was met on the jetbridge by local police and arrested. I was escorted to the airport police station where I filed my report. I am told that he had several baggies of marijuana on him when arrested.
