Narrative:
On nov/xa/98 aircraft xyz arrived in ZZZ with a log entry with the flight director system problem. There was an ILS problem on captain's and first officer's side. I checked the autoland and the ILS system with tic-30 test set. System operated normal at that time. I failed to make second entry in logbook that stated CAT III status of aircraft.

Title: AN MD80 WITH A FLT DIRECTOR, ILS RPT WAS TESTED AND THE RPT CLRED, BUT NO ENTRY WAS MADE THAT CERTIFIED THE CAT III STATUS OF THE ACFT.
Narrative: ON NOV/XA/98 ACFT XYZ ARRIVED IN ZZZ WITH A LOG ENTRY WITH THE FLT DIRECTOR SYS PROB. THERE WAS AN ILS PROB ON CAPT'S AND FO'S SIDE. I CHKED THE AUTOLAND AND THE ILS SYS WITH TIC-30 TEST SET. SYS OPERATED NORMAL AT THAT TIME. I FAILED TO MAKE SECOND ENTRY IN LOGBOOK THAT STATED CAT III STATUS OF ACFT.
