Narrative:

Flight attendant advised smell of burning insulation coming from aft left lavatory. Confirmed with 2 other flight attendants and passenger. Declared an emergency and requested fire trucks meet aircraft. Advised miami that we were landing straight in to runway 27L. After landing, fire trucks did not see any evidence of fire or smoke and flight attendant stated same. Taxied to gate and prior to opening cargo doors, deplaned all passenger and crew normally. No injuries. Advised maintenance, dispatch, and chief pilot. Great crew coordination with everyone including ground personnel, firemen, and ATC.

TAXIED TO GATE AND PRIOR TO OPENING CARGO DOORS, DEPLANED ALL PAX AND CREW NORMALLY. NO INJURIES. ADVISED MAINT, DISPATCH, AND CHIEF PLT. GREAT CREW COORD WITH EVERYONE INCLUDING GND PERSONNEL, FIREMEN, AND ATC.
