Narrative:
Incorrect altitude. Flying VFR over new york class B airspace, I chose an altitude of 10500 ft on a 055 degree heading. My altitude selection should have been odd plus 500 ft. Contributing factor was acute fatigue. I discovered the problem on my own and corrected. After landing at phl, I turned off at the first taxiway and never contacted ground control for taxi. I taxied for about 40 seconds before realizing my error. I corrected and received taxi instructions. Again factors relating to my performance were: lack of rest and acute fatigue. I also may have landed without a clearance from the tower, but I'm not totally sure on this one. This is my second NASA report and both occurrences were caused by lack of rest and acute fatigue. Being mentally sharp while aviating is so important.
