Takeoff runway 36L at mem. At rotation, #3 engine compressor stalled and surged. Declared an emergency with tower. Was switched to departure for vectors south of the field to work red tabs, dump fuel, and set up for ILS runway 36L. No problems with ATC.

Title: FLC OF A CARGO WDB EXPERIENCED A COMPRESSOR STALL OF THE #3 ENG DURING TKOF AND DECLARED AN EMER. THEY RETURN LAND AFTER DUMPING FUEL AND RUNNING APPROPRIATE CHKLISTS.
Narrative: TKOF RWY 36L AT MEM. AT ROTATION, #3 ENG COMPRESSOR STALLED AND SURGED. DECLARED AN EMER WITH TWR. WAS SWITCHED TO DEP FOR VECTORS S OF THE FIELD TO WORK RED TABS, DUMP FUEL, AND SET UP FOR ILS RWY 36L. NO PROBS WITH ATC.
