Narrative:
Floor track light in cabin written up and placed on dpi (delayed placard installation) in ewr. Due to being a non maintenance station, flew to phx. At phx paperwork showed dpi converted to an MEL, however, placard was not installed on logbook cover. Lack of placard noted at next stop in las where track light repaired.
