Narrative:
Flight attendant #5 was picking up trays and serving hot coffee. I was dual-aisle doing the same. The first thing I noticed was a screaming baby and commotion on the other side of the aircraft. I ran over to see what happened. After realizing that hot coffee had spilled on the child, I quickly retrieved the first aid kit and the water gel (for burns). I treated the child until landing. (Flight attendant #5 told me the child inadvertently grabbed the pot and spilled it on himself.) paramedic met the flight and treated child.

Title: FLT ATTENDANT RPT REGARDING A COFFEE SPILL WHICH BURNED A CHILD. THE CHILD REACHED AND GRABBED THE POT AND SPILLED THE COFFEE ON HIMSELF. PARAMEDICS MET THE ACFT.

I RAN OVER TO SEE WHAT HAPPENED. AFTER REALIZING THAT HOT COFFEE HAD SPILLED ON THE CHILD, I QUICKLY RETRIEVED THE FIRST AID KIT AND THE WATER GEL (FOR BURNS). I TREATED THE CHILD UNTIL LNDG. (FLT ATTENDANT #5 TOLD ME THE CHILD INADVERTENTLY GRABBED THE POT AND SPILLED IT ON HIMSELF.) PARAMEDIC MET THE FLT AND TREATED CHILD.
