Narrative:
Departing ewr jan/xa/99 on ewr 6 departure, we received windshear alert on pfd and took proper corrective action (toga power, pitch up, etc). We went past one turning point on the SID as we were required to go straight ahead with windshear warning. The controller was asking about airspeed up or down, etc, as we told him we had a windshear warning. He then told us to turn left immediately to 280 degrees or 290 degrees. All other events normal.
