Narrative:

It had been brought to my attention that a particular passenger was under the influence of alcohol. The gate agent, the boarding flight attendant, and the premium flight attendant were discussing the situation with the captain. As they conversed, the passenger in question walked (staggering) out of the forward galley (boarding) door to have a smoke while the airplane was fueling. At this point, he was already 'caught' for smoking on the airplane. The premium asked to speak to him, and he got extremely defensive. The premium smelled a large amount of alcohol on his breath. The captain decided that this passenger was going to be denied boarding. Passenger burst out with 'a relative of mine just died, and I just what to be left alone.' the agent escorted him off. This is the second passenger that has been escorted off due to unruly behavior on my flts in 1 month. Something needs to be done! I believe that the agent should escort the passenger to the complaint resolution officer immediately. Unfortunately, there is never enough agents to take care of these problems. They are usually busy with the other passenger.

Narrative: IT HAD BEEN BROUGHT TO MY ATTN THAT A PARTICULAR PAX WAS UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL. THE GATE AGENT, THE BOARDING FLT ATTENDANT, AND THE PREMIUM FLT ATTENDANT WERE DISCUSSING THE SIT WITH THE CAPT. AS THEY CONVERSED, THE PAX IN QUESTION WALKED (STAGGERING) OUT OF THE FORWARD GALLEY (BOARDING) DOOR TO HAVE A SMOKE WHILE THE AIRPLANE WAS FUELING. AT THIS POINT, HE WAS ALREADY 'CAUGHT' FOR SMOKING ON THE AIRPLANE. THE PREMIUM ASKED TO SPEAK TO HIM, AND HE GOT EXTREMELY DEFENSIVE. THE PREMIUM SMELLED A LARGE AMOUNT OF ALCOHOL ON HIS BREATH. THE CAPT DECIDED THAT THIS PAX WAS GOING TO BE DENIED BOARDING. PAX BURST OUT WITH 'A RELATIVE OF MINE JUST DIED, AND I JUST WHAT TO BE LEFT ALONE.' THE AGENT ESCORTED HIM OFF. THIS IS THE SECOND PAX THAT HAS BEEN ESCORTED OFF DUE TO UNRULY BEHAVIOR ON MY FLTS IN 1 MONTH. SOMETHING NEEDS TO BE DONE! I BELIEVE THAT THE AGENT SHOULD ESCORT THE PAX TO THE COMPLAINT RESOLUTION OFFICER IMMEDIATELY. UNFORTUNATELY, THERE IS NEVER ENOUGH AGENTS TO TAKE CARE OF THESE PROBS. THEY ARE USUALLY BUSY WITH THE OTHER PAX.
