Narrative:
After taking beverage request, I went to aft galley to fill 2 styrofoam cups with hot water as requested. I turned to round the corner of the aft galley l-hand side as my working partner turned into me. The beverages and tray went sailing. Hot water burned passenger at xa and a little went into my shoe, burning my skin for a few mins. The injury to myself was insignificant.

Title: CABIN ATTENDANT RPT REGARDING AN MD11 FLT ON WHICH A PAX AND CABIN ATTENDANT WERE BURNED WHEN HOT WATER WAS SPILLED FROM A TRAY.
Narrative: AFTER TAKING BEVERAGE REQUEST, I WENT TO AFT GALLEY TO FILL 2 STYROFOAM CUPS WITH HOT WATER AS REQUESTED. I TURNED TO ROUND THE CORNER OF THE AFT GALLEY L-HAND SIDE AS MY WORKING PARTNER TURNED INTO ME. THE BEVERAGES AND TRAY WENT SAILING. HOT WATER BURNED PAX AT XA AND A LITTLE WENT INTO MY SHOE, BURNING MY SKIN FOR A FEW MINS. THE INJURY TO MYSELF WAS INSIGNIFICANT.
