Narrative:
After takeoff from smf noticed that #2 engine oil pressure was in the red but did not get a low oil pressure light. Monitored other engine gauges to verify that we had a problem. #2 engine oil temperature started to climb rapidly. We declared an emergency. Performed the appropriate checklists to shut the #2 engine down and returned to smf without incident.
