Narrative:
Late inbound, did not revalidate release or update proposed time. Flight plan timed out after pushback, but before takeoff due to lengthy taxi delay. When airborne, had to give ATC type aircraft and complete route of flight and destination. No ATC loss of separation occurred.

Title: FLC OF A B737-200 TOOK OFF AFTER THEIR FLT PLAN TIME RAN OUT RESULTING IN DEP CTLR TAKING ALL FLT PLAN INFO FOR OPENING IFR FLT PLAN TO THE SCHEDULED DEST.
Narrative: LATE INBOUND, DID NOT REVALIDATE RELEASE OR UPDATE PROPOSED TIME. FLT PLAN TIMED OUT AFTER PUSHBACK, BUT BEFORE TKOF DUE TO LENGTHY TAXI DELAY. WHEN AIRBORNE, HAD TO GIVE ATC TYPE ACFT AND COMPLETE RTE OF FLT AND DEST. NO ATC LOSS OF SEPARATION OCCURRED.
