Narrative:
Tower cleared us for takeoff using the phrase 'cleared for takeoff' with no runway indication. We were holding short of the runway 22/runway 27L intersection and had been previously advised ('taxi to runway 22'), so we departed on runway 22. Tower informed us on upwind that we had been cleared for takeoff on runway 27L. The frequency was congested, and no traffic hazards resulted.
