Narrative:
While climbing out of msp, we leveled off at 5000 ft MSL for a few mins. Then, departure cleared us to climb to 17000 ft. We started up and were climbing between 2000-3000 FPM. When at 5800 ft MSL, we were to maintain 6000 ft MSL. We were unable to level off in time and overshot our altitude by 500 ft.
