Narrative:

While on vectors for the ILS to runway 30, lgb approach asked our descent rate (1500 FPM) and then turned us to intercept final approach course. As we intercepted, we received an RA on TCASII and had to climb to 4000 ft. We were again vectored to an ILS runway 30 for an uneventful ILS. The controller never asked about our altitude or descent rate until the turn to final and then asked why we were high. We would have made a standard normal landing at that point if we had not received and complied with our TCASII RA.
