Narrative:
During time on frequency XXX.xx with ZNY, controller was very abrupt. Chastised several pilots for not responding quick enough or not reading back call signs. Also expressed dissatisfaction with us when we didn't get all of his rapid delivery of a descent clearance with a turn passing a certain altitude on the first transmission. Traffic pace did not seem that busy to warrant his manner.
