Narrative:

After medevacing 2 patients to anc, we refueled, picked up our medics and departed panc to pabr to begin another medevac (new crew). We anticipated using runway 32 and were cleared to depart with the knik 5 procedure. Apparently an emergency was in progress (fire trucks waiting) and tower asked if we could accept runway 6L. I accepted, and we were cleared for takeoff. I had mistakenly reviewed the anc 2 departure. This called for a right turn to heading 190 degrees. The knik 5 called for left turn to heading 330 degrees. Departure control gave us the correct heading and questioned our initial clearance. We responded with the heading change and verified our initial clearance.

Title: CAPT OF A PUBLIC OPERATED LEAR JET, LR31, TURNED THE WRONG WAY AFTER TKOF ON SID DEP DUE TO CONFUSION OF BEING ASSIGNED A DIFFERENT RWY JUST PRIOR TO TKOF. ATC CTLR ALERTED THEM AND GAVE THEM VECTORS BACK ON THE SID.

Narrative: AFTER MEDEVACING 2 PATIENTS TO ANC, WE REFUELED, PICKED UP OUR MEDICS AND DEPARTED PANC TO PABR TO BEGIN ANOTHER MEDEVAC (NEW CREW). WE ANTICIPATED USING RWY 32 AND WERE CLRED TO DEPART WITH THE KNIK 5 PROC. APPARENTLY AN EMER WAS IN PROGRESS (FIRE TRUCKS WAITING) AND TWR ASKED IF WE COULD ACCEPT RWY 6L. I ACCEPTED, AND WE WERE CLRED FOR TKOF. I HAD MISTAKENLY REVIEWED THE ANC 2 DEP. THIS CALLED FOR A R TURN TO HDG 190 DEGS. THE KNIK 5 CALLED FOR L TURN TO HDG 330 DEGS. DEP CTL GAVE US THE CORRECT HDG AND QUESTIONED OUR INITIAL CLRNC. WE RESPONDED WITH THE HDG CHANGE AND VERIFIED OUR INITIAL CLRNC.
