Narrative:
We had been sent to the 'penalty box' to await the opening of our gate. Several PA's had been made to remain seated and keep the aisles clear of carry-on luggage. A passenger got out of her seat and opened a bin and retrieved her luggage, which was then placed in the aisle. I saw this take place, so I proceeded up the aisle to close the bin and get the luggage out of the aisle. The passenger refused to move the bag, so I bent down to pick it up and place it in the bin. At this point, she yelled at me and snatched the bag out of my hands. I warned the woman that interfering with my safety related duties was not acceptable. I removed myself from the situation to retrieve a written warning concerning her behavior. When I handed it to her she crumpled the paper and threw it at me. She said, and I quote, 'you will not tell me when I can or can't get in the bins or what I can or cannot do with my luggage.' auths met the flight -- no charges were filed.
