Narrative:
We were given taxi instructions, 'taxi to runway 18L via taxiway B, hold short of taxiway B2.' a BE1900D passed off our right on taxiway C. We thought that the BE1900D was the aircraft we were holding for and as we proceeded with our checklist we rolled through taxiway B2 to hold short of runway 18L. We were never given a clearance to hold short of runway 18L and the tower informed us of such instructions. Our initial instructions did not include information pertaining to the aircraft we were to follow, and we did not ask about our sequence for takeoff. I think that taxi instructions should include sequence information. I also believe that this crew let other duties, ie, WX and takeoff duties, interfere with the task at hand.

Title: AN ACR B757 FLC TAXIED BEYOND THEIR HOLD SHORT POINT AFTER ANOTHER ACFT HAD PASSED THEM ON THE PARALLEL TXWY.
Narrative: WE WERE GIVEN TAXI INSTRUCTIONS, 'TAXI TO RWY 18L VIA TXWY B, HOLD SHORT OF TXWY B2.' A BE1900D PASSED OFF OUR R ON TXWY C. WE THOUGHT THAT THE BE1900D WAS THE ACFT WE WERE HOLDING FOR AND AS WE PROCEEDED WITH OUR CHKLIST WE ROLLED THROUGH TXWY B2 TO HOLD SHORT OF RWY 18L. WE WERE NEVER GIVEN A CLRNC TO HOLD SHORT OF RWY 18L AND THE TWR INFORMED US OF SUCH INSTRUCTIONS. OUR INITIAL INSTRUCTIONS DID NOT INCLUDE INFO PERTAINING TO THE ACFT WE WERE TO FOLLOW, AND WE DID NOT ASK ABOUT OUR SEQUENCE FOR TKOF. I THINK THAT TAXI INSTRUCTIONS SHOULD INCLUDE SEQUENCE INFO. I ALSO BELIEVE THAT THIS CREW LET OTHER DUTIES, IE, WX AND TKOF DUTIES, INTERFERE WITH THE TASK AT HAND.
