Narrative:
Descending from FL240 to 10000 ft MSL on the arrival into cle. At FL200 we were given holding instructions at wakem intersection (10000 ft and 250 KTS). We descended through FL180 while copying the hold instructions. This interrupted our 'in range' checklist and we missed setting the local altimeter setting. This caused us to be approximately 400 ft low at the hold fix. ATC asked our altitude. There was no conflict with other traffic.

Title: FLC OF AN EMBRAER EMB145 OVERSHOT ASSIGNED ALT DUE TO FORGETTING TO RESET ALTIMETERS PASSING THROUGH FL180 ON DSCNT.
Narrative: DSNDING FROM FL240 TO 10000 FT MSL ON THE ARR INTO CLE. AT FL200 WE WERE GIVEN HOLDING INSTRUCTIONS AT WAKEM INTXN (10000 FT AND 250 KTS). WE DSNDED THROUGH FL180 WHILE COPYING THE HOLD INSTRUCTIONS. THIS INTERRUPTED OUR 'IN RANGE' CHKLIST AND WE MISSED SETTING THE LCL ALTIMETER SETTING. THIS CAUSED US TO BE APPROX 400 FT LOW AT THE HOLD FIX. ATC ASKED OUR ALT. THERE WAS NO CONFLICT WITH OTHER TFC.
