Narrative:
I was the purser on the flight from sju to bdl. The situation happened in the back, the flight attendant #6 was directly involved but a passenger, who was apparently a disturbed person, said that she was going to smoke. We said that was not permitted and that she could be arrested for that, so she promised that she was not going to and then she locked herself in the bathroom and once she was out, we could smell the smoke. So we talked to her. She got really upset when we told her that she was going to have to pay a fine for smoking in the bathroom. The captain filed a report and she was escorted off the plane. She also was getting intoxicated so we did not serve her any more alcohol, and that really upset her during the flight. I was not directly involved, but the flight attendant directly involved handled it very well.

Title: FLT ATTENDANT RPT ON INTOXICATED PAX SMOKING IN LAVATORY ON B757, SJU-BDL.
Narrative: I WAS THE PURSER ON THE FLT FROM SJU TO BDL. THE SIT HAPPENED IN THE BACK, THE FLT ATTENDANT #6 WAS DIRECTLY INVOLVED BUT A PAX, WHO WAS APPARENTLY A DISTURBED PERSON, SAID THAT SHE WAS GOING TO SMOKE. THE CAPT FILED A RPT AND SHE WAS ESCORTED OFF THE PLANE. SHE ALSO WAS GETTING INTOXICATED SO WE DID NOT SERVE HER ANY MORE ALCOHOL, AND THAT REALLY UPSET HER DURING THE FLT. I WAS NOT DIRECTLY INVOLVED, BUT THE FLT ATTENDANT DIRECTLY INVOLVED HANDLED IT VERY WELL.
