Narrative:
While waiting to depart on runway 15 at ase, we observed the wind socks to show a 90 degree crosswind varying to 45 degree tailing crosswind. The wind was reported as variable, and on our takeoff roll, tower reported wing at 170 degrees at 15 KTS. Upon further observance, we noticed a windsock near our end of the runway as well as a midfield windsock showing a near 90 degree crosswind varying to a 45 degree tailing crosswind. We felt comfortable and safe with these winds and took off without incident.
