Narrative:
Arrival changed from civet to paradise 3. Approaching paradise, runway changed from runway 25L to runway 24R. With time available, unable to locate a transition to runway 24R, immediately transitioned to VOR on captain's side and ILS on first officer's side for intercept at mitts. Did not arm approach. Passed through localizer. Extenuating factors: held high on arrival 16000 ft approaching rifft 14000 ft crossing normally, late change of runway, very high density communications.
