Narrative:
During boarding, the passenger seated in xd placed his bag under the last seat of first class where the bag blocked emergency equipment. The #3 flight attendant noticed this and was getting ready to have his bag gate checked, but I was in the rear of the aircraft and told her there was an empty bin at about row 17. The passenger put his bag in the bin and seemed annoyed that the bin was so far from his seat. After the beverage service and just before the captain said 'prepare for landing' flight attendant #3 noticed his bag was back in the spot where it blocked emergency equipment. I told the passenger that for landing, the bag needs to go back in the overhead bin. He told me the bag was fine where it was, and that he doesn't want to wait to get his bag. Flight attendant #3 tried to assist me in telling the passenger the bag blocked emergency equipment, but the passenger insisted on leaving his bag under the seat. The deadheading captain seated in first class told us (myself and flight attendant #3) to just let it be and get security when we got on the ground.

Title: FLT ATTENDANT RPT, F100, ORD-RST, PAX REFUSED TO STOW BAG FOR LNDG, SECURITY CALLED UPON ARR.
Narrative: DURING BOARDING, THE PAX SEATED IN XD PLACED HIS BAG UNDER THE LAST SEAT OF FIRST CLASS WHERE THE BAG BLOCKED EMER EQUIP. THE #3 FLT ATTENDANT NOTICED THIS AND WAS GETTING READY TO HAVE HIS BAG GATE CHKED, BUT I WAS IN THE REAR OF THE ACFT AND TOLD HER THERE WAS AN EMPTY BIN AT ABOUT ROW 17. THE PAX PUT HIS BAG IN THE BIN AND SEEMED ANNOYED THAT THE BIN WAS SO FAR FROM HIS SEAT. AFTER THE BEVERAGE SVC AND JUST BEFORE THE CAPT SAID 'PREPARE FOR LNDG' FLT ATTENDANT #3 NOTICED HIS BAG WAS BACK IN THE SPOT WHERE IT BLOCKED EMER EQUIP. I TOLD THE PAX THAT FOR LNDG, THE BAG NEEDS TO GO BACK IN THE OVERHEAD BIN. HE TOLD ME THE BAG WAS FINE WHERE IT WAS, AND THAT HE DOESN'T WANT TO WAIT TO GET HIS BAG. FLT ATTENDANT #3 TRIED TO ASSIST ME IN TELLING THE PAX THE BAG BLOCKED EMER EQUIP, BUT THE PAX INSISTED ON LEAVING HIS BAG UNDER THE SEAT. THE DEADHEADING CAPT SEATED IN FIRST CLASS TOLD US (MYSELF AND FLT ATTENDANT #3) TO JUST LET IT BE AND GET SECURITY WHEN WE GOT ON THE GND.
