Narrative:
Departing iad for alb. Pre departure clearance was jeres, vallo, babee, rka alb as was release. First officer got pre departure clearance and selected flight plan from FMS storage. After vallo, we started proceeding to fqm instead of babee. I realized error at the same time as ZNY. After being queried by ZNY, I realized stored flight plan was different than pre departure clearance and release. We were then cleared by ZNY to proceed direct cfb, direct alb. I was preoccupied with other minor details prior to taxi, and I did not verify that FMS flight plan was the same as pre departure clearance and release. Supplemental information from acn 435315: error was not checking the clearance adequately against the FMS. The clearance was not the normal routing and we were rushed with a late arrival and quick turn.

Title: A JETSTREAM 41 FLC FAILED TO XCHK FMC RTE AGAINST CLRED RTE AND DEVIATED FROM ASSIGNED RTE.
Narrative: DEPARTING IAD FOR ALB. PDC WAS JERES, VALLO, BABEE, RKA ALB AS WAS RELEASE. FO GOT PDC AND SELECTED FLT PLAN FROM FMS STORAGE. AFTER VALLO, WE STARTED PROCEEDING TO FQM INSTEAD OF BABEE. I REALIZED ERROR AT THE SAME TIME AS ZNY. AFTER BEING QUERIED BY ZNY, I REALIZED STORED FLT PLAN WAS DIFFERENT THAN PDC AND RELEASE. WE WERE THEN CLRED BY ZNY TO PROCEED DIRECT CFB, DIRECT ALB. I WAS PREOCCUPIED WITH OTHER MINOR DETAILS PRIOR TO TAXI, AND I DID NOT VERIFY THAT FMS FLT PLAN WAS THE SAME AS PDC AND RELEASE. SUPPLEMENTAL INFO FROM ACN 435315: ERROR WAS NOT CHKING THE CLRNC ADEQUATELY AGAINST THE FMS. THE CLRNC WAS NOT THE NORMAL ROUTING AND WE WERE RUSHED WITH A LATE ARR AND QUICK TURN.
