Narrative:
During descent, smoke reported in cabin. Later found to be electrical in nature. Diverted to yakima international airport using emergency authority/authorized. ZSE, chinook approach control, and yakima tower personnel were superb in their handling of our flight. Landed safely, deplaned passenger, and solved maintenance problem.

Narrative: DURING DSCNT, SMOKE RPTED IN CABIN. LATER FOUND TO BE ELECTRICAL IN NATURE. DIVERTED TO YAKIMA INTL ARPT USING EMER AUTH. ZSE, CHINOOK APCH CTL, AND YAKIMA TWR PERSONNEL WERE SUPERB IN THEIR HANDLING OF OUR FLT. LANDED SAFELY, DEPLANED PAX, AND SOLVED MAINT PROB.
