Narrative:
Passenger seated in row xxf, passenger #1, came back to back galley where several passenger were in line for the lavatory. She appeared to be crying. I asked what was wrong. She said she was very upset, her dad had passed away. He was a millionaire and did not leave her any money. I escorted her back to her seat, talking to her, trying to calm her down. The young child in xxd, I moved by my jump seat. She seemed to be uncomfortable with passenger #1 crying. That left her in the row alone. No one was in the xxe seat. I notified the #1 flight attendant of the situation and that the agent needed to be told of her situation, due to her connecting to another flight, she may need assistance, that passenger #1 was very depressed. After landing, I assisted passenger #1 up to the gate, because the agent was not at the door of the aircraft. Mass confusion was very apparent at the gate. I told the agent there, who yelled at me, he didn't want to hear it, to see his csm. I then told the csm the situation and took her to passenger #1. I then went to the aircraft and the #1 flight attendant helped me get my luggage off the aircraft. I did not see passenger #1 when I got back to the gate, but the csm was plucking tickets. Passenger #1 seemed very depressed. I feel someone should have met passenger #1 at the aircraft door that could have assisted her, wheelchair, agent or passenger services. It was so crowded when I got her to the gate, I couldn't walk her through the people. I had to leave her leaning on the plucking machine.
