Narrative:
Off ATC frequency. Upon leveling at FL230, we realized our frequency select switch was inadvertently moved back to departure control frequency. Immediately recontacted center who then gave us a frequency change.

Title: MD80 CREW LOST RADIO CONTACT WITH ZME WHEN THE FREQ SELECTOR SWITCH WAS MISPOSITIONED.
Narrative: OFF ATC FREQ. UPON LEVELING AT FL230, WE REALIZED OUR FREQ SELECT SWITCH WAS INADVERTENTLY MOVED BACK TO DEP CTL FREQ. IMMEDIATELY RECONTACTED CTR WHO THEN GAVE US A FREQ CHANGE.
