Narrative:
At XA00 in the morning, going through baggage screening, flight attendant pointed out that x-ray screener was asleep. Probably at least 10 people had gone through (that we saw). Could have been many more. Their bags had not been x-ray'ed. I went to security supervisor immediately and had him stop the people from coming through the metal detector and x-ray machine. Contacted our company manager and advised him of situation. After talking to our flight attendants and copilot, it was determined that we could depart safely. Later, wondered if the entire terminal should have been evacuate/evacuationed and all bags re-X-ray'ed. Departed uneventfully.
