Narrative:
Ramp ground control informed us that we had cut in front of the airbus and that he had told us to turn in on P1 instead of P2. That was a false statement and I informed him that he had cleared us in on P2 and that the A320 had come to a complete stop before we had even started to turn the corner onto P2, which he was stopped well short of.

Title: A DC9 FLC TOOK ISSUE WITH GND CTL'S ASSERTION THAT THEY FAILED TO TAXI IN ACCORDANCE WITH THEIR CLRNC.
Narrative: RAMP GND CTL INFORMED US THAT WE HAD CUT IN FRONT OF THE AIRBUS AND THAT HE HAD TOLD US TO TURN IN ON P1 INSTEAD OF P2. THAT WAS A FALSE STATEMENT AND I INFORMED HIM THAT HE HAD CLRED US IN ON P2 AND THAT THE A320 HAD COME TO A COMPLETE STOP BEFORE WE HAD EVEN STARTED TO TURN THE CORNER ONTO P2, WHICH HE WAS STOPPED WELL SHORT OF.
