Narrative:
First officer got clearance from roa and was assigned 220 degree heading. ATIS was broadcasting a dixie departure procedure. First officer was new and low time/experience, told captain to fly dixie departure. This was briefed by captain prior to takeoff. After takeoff, flew dixie departure out lda course. Told by tower to fly 220 degree heading. Turned to 220 degree heading and continued on course. Airline has high attention rate and no experienced pilots will apply here.

Narrative: FO GOT CLRNC FROM ROA AND WAS ASSIGNED 220 DEG HDG. ATIS WAS BROADCASTING A DIXIE DEP PROC. FO WAS NEW AND LOW TIME/EXPERIENCE, TOLD CAPT TO FLY DIXIE DEP. THIS WAS BRIEFED BY CAPT PRIOR TO TKOF. AFTER TKOF, FLEW DIXIE DEP OUT LDA COURSE. TOLD BY TWR TO FLY 220 DEG HDG. TURNED TO 220 DEG HDG AND CONTINUED ON COURSE. AIRLINE HAS HIGH ATTN RATE AND NO EXPERIENCED PLTS WILL APPLY HERE.
