Narrative:
After takeoff on runway 27, crew got an ovrb cool and cabin passenger door out handle caution message, along with rushing noise from around main cabin door. QRH was run and aircraft was returned to cvg for an uneventful landing. Maintenance seemed more concerned about the flight attendant method of door operation than the door itself.
