Narrative:
We smelled smoke in main cabin (the #4 flight attendant and I -- the #2). The passenger smelled smoke as well. I went to the aft of aircraft to call the captain, at the same time the #4 flight attendant went to the cockpit. The captain said, 'I smell it. We are going back.' we put everything away and prepared the passenger for return to gate. We did not have to evacuate/evacuation. Everything worked out. The whole cabin crew were excellent -- especially the cockpit.
