Title: B757 FLC OVERSHOOTS ASSIGNED ALT AND IS CHALLENGED BY CTLR BUT IS NOT ADVISED WHAT OR IF A CONFLICTION OCCURRED.
Narrative: CLRED TO 16000 FT. CTLR CALLED OUT OF 15500 FT AND SAID, 'WHAT IS YOUR ALT?' I RESPONDED, '15500 FT.' CTLR SAID, 'YOU WERE A PROB' AND CTLR SAID HE WOULD GET BACK TO ME, BUT HE DIDN'T.
