Narrative:
Cleared to intercept runway 25L localizer for the ILS approach to lax. At this time lax approach gave us TA, a B737 on approach for the north complex. We acknowledged traffic in sight. While busy doing landing checklist, I noticed that the first officer was about to go through the localizer. Lax approach asked me 'are you turning for runway 25L localizer?' during the turn we did get an RA.
